Good Old Fashion Girl Do you miss the days when the birds and the bees went well with a bag of sunflower seeds? Do you miss children running around playing outside while mama was in the kitchen whipping up a hot meal? Well, if those days are in your heart and they're something that you miss, you have to see one the most touching and enriching family plays in New York City, Good Old Fashion Girl, written by Lola Cooper. It will fill the void you may have been experiencing since so much has changed. When walking into an amazing Brooklyn café, Word Up Café located at 652 Pennsylvania Avenue we were very lucky to walk right into a preview of Good Old Fashion Girl. The characters were not only oh so soulfully familiar, but extremely intriguing. They took us on a reflective heartfelt journey through neighborhood, time, and friendships that were marked with the flavor, love, and innocence of the good old days. We love this play so much so that we are giving away tickets!!! Yes!!
