While BlaQ' Loyalty was working hard in the community of Brooklyn on August 19th, we found someone who was working harder! Along comes this brilliant child who had the most driven heart and passion for his mother. He approached one of our representatives and with the kindest voice, asks if we were familiar with September 12th 2017 voting day and about his mother? We proceeded with big smiles letting him know that we were unsure of who his mom was at the time. He then said I think my mom should know about you. He went into intricate detail of his mothers' hard work and dedication to our community. His mind was absolutely brilliant, the way he verbalised the information! And he truly operated from a state of intellect, care and concern. We then said whoever your mother is we NEED to meet her just based off how WONDERFUL YOU are!! And out of the blue his mother appeared and wala- We were able to see the amazing mother behind such an amazing child. What a true reflection of one another both Patria Frias Colon and her son are. From that moment on she had our vote!
